CS Online — Counter-Strike 1.6 in your browser

CS Online is classic Counter-Strike 1.6 multiplayer that runs right in your browser. There is nothing to download or install and no sign-up: press Run game, pick a server and within seconds you are playing with real people.

Official servers are in Europe (Amsterdam) and the United States, with up to 20 players each, and bots fill the teams when few people are online. Play the original modes and maps: bomb defusal on de_dust2 and de_inferno, hostage rescue, Deathmatch, GunGame, AWP and aim maps, Zombie, Hide and Seek, Deathrun, bunny hop, KZ and surf, more than 70 maps in total.

For pure fun there are “Cheats ON” servers where every player gets a built-in aimbot, wallhack, radar and bunny hop. The game keeps a rating with ranks and a leaderboard, players can vote for the next map, and the first player on a server becomes its temporary admin.

Controls: WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot, B to buy, M to choose a team, Tab for the scoreboard, Y/U for chat. On phones there are touch controls.

The first launch downloads the game files once (about 150 MB); after that it starts almost instantly.
